Our experience enables us to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. We treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples.
Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.
We promise to be there for you every step of your journey. Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
Being a social worker, community citizen and a family person, I understand the struggles and hardships that come in life. I believe that, through a therapeutic conversation, people can feel relief and build on a solid foundation to move forward and towards their next steps in life.
My name is Devinder (Dev) Dhaliwal, a Registered Social Worker, in good standing, with the British Columbia College of Social Workers and British Columbia Association of Social Workers. I completed my studies at the University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford where I am born and raised.
Life is beautiful and to share your story with just anyone can be overwhelming. My practice is Trauma informed with an Anti-Oppressive lens. This means, I foster a safe and confidential environment to allow people to engage with their feelings and bring their story out, while providing an anti-oppressive lens. My aim is to provide a comfortable, trusting and a healthy therapeutic alliance with the individual so that the conversation is meaningful, positive and productive. Life can be overwhelming, but therapy does not have to be. If the services do not fit or feel right, I will personally get you connected with someone to better suit your needs. Someone told me once that counselling is like trying on a shoe, you have to find the right fit.
